Emma my NP was very helpful and knowledgeable of my high blood pressure medication and did recommend we start monitoring my blood pressure.

I was very sick from a cold which had settled in my lungs. The Nurse Practitioner (Emma) gave me excellent care by listening attentively and then prescribed the appropriate medications.
I have been to Hazel Dell family care two times and saw nurse practitioner Emma Vazquez. I cannot speak highly enough of her and how well she calmed me on both visits catching that I was very sick the first visit and sent me straight to the hospital. I just visited to have a check up/well care visit and she took the time to listen and did not push for me to have anything more than blood test until I saw my oncologist again. To reiterate, I cannot speak highly enough of her. She made me feel very comfortable.

N.P. Velazquez always takes my concerns seriously. I have had a few times where other doctors wouldn’t listen to my concerns or issues and then I would go see her and she would listen and help figure out what’s going on. This time around I talked to 2 other doctors before seeing her because I wasn’t being taken seriously, N.P. Velazquez listened and took the proper steps to figure out what was going on. Now I’m on medications to fix my problem. I will always see her as long as I can since I know I can rely on her to help me!
