Too early in process to know the outcome- but initial visit/consultation was very good. I would have appreciated more recommended 'specific' rehab exercises to strengthen muscles to assist in recovery & prevention.
I've been so impressed with everyone and everything at Riverview. Dr. Stephenson is a wonderful surgeon that cares about his patients.

I found Dr. Stephenson to be very personable. I like his more conservative approach to my care.. He recommended physical therapy, which hopefully I will start next week. I also like the fact that he did not treat me like an old person which a lot of doctors tend to do. I am 72 and incredibly active and wish to stay that way.

I met with Dr Stephenson Friday morning to discuss a plan of care for my left knee pain. He was cordial, professional, supportive of my activity program. He reviewed the X-rays with me that were taken before meeting with him. I really appreciated his willingness to work with me on how to treat my recent injury. Rather than choose surgery at this point, we'll approach care on a conservative basis and see how I feel over the next month.I have decided that along with medication, I will have Dr Stephenson inject the knee with a steroid on 5 September.
