Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Heavin enjoys taking care of patients of all ages from all different backgrounds. She looks forward to building relationships with her patients and experiencing the community-focused culture at Riverview Health. Dr. Heavin earned an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Purdue University and then earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys ceramics and spending time with her family.

I have been going there for several years now, and I am extremely comfortable with the office the lab the nursing staff and absolutely love my doctor—Dr. Heavin. No matter how terrified I may be at whatever is going on with my body at that time she always talks to me and makes me feel 100% better!! I have always been given great care and attention! The nursing staff is absolutely wonderful also! So is the office people. If there’s something I don’t understand about a billing issue they are always ready to help me understand it and guide me through it. I love this place and hope it’s there for many many years to come.!!
