A heart scan is performed using a CT scanner to determine the amount of hardened plaque inside your coronary arteries. This screening can reveal hidden risks, giving you the power to make informed decisions about your health and providing peace of mind.
To be eligible, men must be older than 35, and women must be older than 40. You must weigh 345 lbs or less. Patients must have a primary care physician to whom the heart scan results can be sent. Patients must disclose if they are under the care of a cardiologist. This test is not recommended for patients with stents or previous heart surgery. We do not bill medical insurances for specially priced heart scans.
