Ways to Give

There are numerous meaningful ways individuals can contribute to the Riverview Health Foundation, each offering the opportunity to shape how their generosity enhances the lives of patients and empowers the dedicated staff at Riverview Health.

There are many ways people can invest in Riverview Health Foundation and direct how their dollars can impact patients and staff at Riverview Health.

Whether supporting the Women of Vision Giving Club, Champions of Care program, Courtney Cox Cole Infusion Center, Help for Healing Fund (a patient financial assistance fund) or the Area of Greatest Need, every dollar invested in Riverview Health Foundation goes to fund programs and projects that benefit the patients and staff of Riverview Health.

Ways to Give

  • Stocks & Securities

Making a gift of appreciated assets (securities that have been held for more than a year) to Riverview Health Foundation can provide a tax deduction and help avoid capital gains tax.  Please contact Megan Wiles 317.776.7317 or mwiles@riverview.org for more information.

  • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)

A distribution from IRA accounts is an easy and tax-efficient way to make immediate impact on Riverview Health Foundation that can begin at age 70 ½.  And these gifts will count toward your Required Minimum Distributions when you are at least 73 years old.

  • Life Insurance

If you no longer need your life insurance policy, please consider gifting it to Riverview Health Foundation and join the Harrell Society.

Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated as it takes all of us working together to have a powerful impact on the lives of the patients, families and staff members of Riverview Health.

2025 Year end charitable giving

There are changes to charitable giving under the new One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) that everyone should consider when wanting to achieve the maximum impact with your charitable gifts. Please be sure to consult with your financial advisor/tax professional as to what would work best for your situation.
